The Red Bull Basement World Final arrives in the US for the first time. After previous editions in Istanbul and Tokyo, in 2026 first-time founders from around the world will pitch their inspiring ideas on a global stage in San Francisco, the heart of tech and innovation.
The World Final of Red Bull Basement is making its US debut at Pier 48 in San Francisco. This dynamic showcase brings together exciting first-time founders from over 40 countries, international industry leaders and cutting-edge technology.
The World Final begins with pre-selection: a dynamic showcase of innovative ideas, cutting-edge technology and networking with founders, industry leaders and experts. The Top 10 teams move on to pitch their ideas in front of high-profile judges, investors and Red Bull athletes, as well as a live audience. At stake: the title of Red Bull Basement World Final Winner and a prize including $100,000.

How it works
01 Application
Applicants brainstormed & refined an idea with the AI Mentors and submitted it.
02 Video Pitch
65 applicants were selected to record a 1‑minute video pitch of their idea to a panel of industry leaders and experts.
03 National Final
15 finalists pitched their ideas. The top 3 were selected to advance to the World Final.
04 World Final
National winners received AI tools and mentoring, then traveled to San Francisco for a 3‑day trip to pitch their idea for a chance to win the World Final grand prize.
