HealthTech Strategies, LLC and Sidebench are excited to announce their upcoming pediatric focused hackathon.

This event will bring together individuals from various disciplines to work in teams, leveraging their expertise to address real-world challenges in pediatric healthcare.

Join them Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Masimo, 52 Discovery Irvine, CA 92618.

This is a unique opportunity for anyone with an interest in pediatric healthcare innovation to engage in and contribute to enhancing the quality of care for their smallest patients. Whether it's conceptualizing a new app, exploring the application of AI in healthcare, or simply bringing your perspective to a pressing issue, all ideas and contributions are welcome. Participants do not need to come with ready solutions but should arrive with an open mind and a readiness to tackle problems collaboratively!

The hackathon will kick off with presentations from clinicians, physicians, other pediatric healthcare professionals and potentially even patients, who will share real-world patient care and process issues that need addressing. Following this, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and form teams of 5-7 members. These teams will then work intensively over the weekend to develop innovative solutions to the challenges they choose to tackle.

This is a free event, and HealthTech Strategies, LLC is enthusiastic about the potential outcomes and the positive impact they can have on. Moreover, they are delighted to announce that prizes and resources/support will be awarded to recognize the most innovative and effective solutions.

This hackathon is not just about finding solutions but also about building connections, learning from one another, fostering a culture of innovation and building the OC ecosystem.

Whether you're a seasoned innovation pro or just starting out, this event is for you! They want clinicians, physicians, entrepreneurs, business & strategy professionals, researchers, coders, computer science students and professionals, UX/UI designers, engineers and more. Anyone interested in solving problems in pediatrics is welcome. You do not need to know how to code!

They still need mentors, judges and additional sponsors! Sponsorships start as low as $1,000 and will go toward providing food and beverage as well as prizes for the winning teams. In kind services are also accepted.

Have a high school student? Community service hours are available to volunteers! Flexible schedules are available.
