Mayor Khan is hosting Honorable Dilawar Syed, Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs at the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs for a 2-day summit to discuss Irvine’s business and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Throughout the visit, Honorable Dilawar Syed will be engaging with Irvine/OC business leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and thought leaders from the private and public sectors.

This will be a unique opportunity for local startups to speak directly with Honorable Dilawar Syed, who is responsible for advancing trade, commercial, and economic policies that create well-paying jobs across communities in America and supporting U.S. companies doing business abroad. Come share your ideas, questions, concerns and hear more about how the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs is supporting startups.
