SPACs: Unlocking a “blank check”
Join them Wednesday, September 23 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM via WebEx (virtual location).
Blank check investors—also known as special-purpose acquisition companies (SPACs)—raised more than $12 billion in the first half of 2020. Now, they are looking to spend that capital on privately held companies. But securing that blank check investment isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Join them as professionals from KPMG and Fenwick examine the uptick in SPACs from the first half of 2020 and share their insights on what’s in store for the remainder of the year.
This event will feature a fireside chat with Jon Campagna, CFO of Virgin Galactic. Jon will provide firsthand perspective after successfully leading Virgin Galactic through their SPAC transaction in 2019.
They will also look at some of the unique challenges involved in attracting and closing investments from SPACs and offer some advice to help private company leaders and their boards leverage this potential growth opportunity.
