Program Objective: Work to bridge the gender gap within the Technology Field by creating a mentorship program that will help a woman interested in technology break into coding while also receiving mentorship and support from a BeSmartee Engineer.
BeSmartee Scholarship and Mentorship: BeSmartee will be providing a scholarship of $1,000 for LearningFuze’s Full Immersion program. Throughout the 14 weeks of the Full Immersion Program and during the job search there will be weekly mentorship meetings to get recipient’s questions answered as well as guidance as they enter the tech field.
LearningFuze’s Full Immersion Program: LearningFuze will be providing the web development training needed to succeed in the recipients future web development career. During the Full Immersion program the scholarship recipient will learn the fundamentals of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and also dive into related frameworks such as Node.js and React.

Deadline for completion of Interview: October 16th

LearningFuze Prep Class: October 24th – November 7th (part time)
Prep Class is required for anyone coming into the Full Immersion
Free for anyone applying to the Scholarship/Mentorship
LearningFuze Full Immersion Begins: November 9th (full time = 60+ hours/week)
Full Immersion Cohort Ends: February 19th
Qualifications
Female interested in Coding/Programming over 18yrs
Ability to commit 60+ hours/week (including weekends) to coding/programming
Monday – Friday require 12 hour commitments and 8 hours over the weekend
Interest in going on to a coding career right after completing the program
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Own a laptop

In-person Interview with LearningFuze
The interview must be completed by October 16th
LearningFuze Technical Assessment
Please note: During the interview a date will be chosen for this based on applicants technical knowledge
To help prepare they suggest going through “Watch and Code”
The Assessment must be taken by October 21st
Final Interview with BeSmartee team member
Criteria for Approval:
Tech Assessment score of greater than 11
Interview score ranking (scoring of between 1 and 5)
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Substantive answers to questions
Completion of Prep Class
Registration can be done before or after interview
